Working Days – Monday to Friday (Weekends – Depending on the sports events)

About the role:
Our rapidly growing sports media arm is looking for a technically inclined, passionate, and eager-to-learn member to join our team. The Digital Media Intern will be an invaluable asset to the Succeeding Small team.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated, self-starting, and eager to learn the ins and outs of Media Development, Sports Blogs/Posts/Articles/Updates, Key sports events (technical & non-technical) across APAC, International Sports Tournaments and Social Media Marketing.
Through this process, they will also develop their skills in media, and Digital Marketing and will be a part of helping give upcoming sports athletes a much-deserved online identity.
They will enhance their skills to be able to strategize and optimize each digital asset for posting, branding, SEO, conversion optimization, and user experience to help businesses grow. The successful candidate will be able to utilize social media to create a brand voice and presence for each client they work with.
They will be responsible for communicating the voice and messaging through design and branding and will work closely with the other creatives.
Responsibilities Digital Media Management
- Closely track the sporting events. Regular posts and updates about the events should be live on the portal in quick time.
- Write copy and design graphics for a variety of different events, personalities. To be posted on different social media channels.
- Develop and embody the necessary tone, brand persona, and business goals.
- Write for various audiences, while thinking critically about their needs
- Create dynamic, interesting, and grammatically correct sentences.
- Craft compelling narratives that drive engagement and action
- Research brand history, competition, and similar writing genres to emulate successful tactics, while offering a fresh, unique perspective
- Work in conjunction with the team to ensure all messages align with brand and purpose.
- Once experienced, you will also be editing and proof reading other copy and making sure it aligns with the brand, SEO, and appropriate digital medium
Content Creation
- Plan, write and finalize excellent, persuasive content according to tasks assigned
- Search engine optimize all content before publishing
- Publish content using provided software
- Design graphics and write persuasive copy for Social Media
Content Management
- Plan, write and execute content creation strategy for posts, stories, etc. in order to optimize SEO and generate leads for clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Avid self-learner with a passion for the digital marketing industry and social media specifically
- Experience working with Meta, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and Canva preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Must be camera friendly, able to take video shots, recordings, conduct interviews
- Ability to use Google Suite Ecosystem
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple client tasks and goals each week
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Ability to work independently and problem solve while participating in a team environment.
What you will learn
- This position will help you sharpen your existing writing skills as it applies to persuasive copy in various digital formats. Social Media Managers will learn:
- A deep understanding of Social Media Management, Search Engine Optimization, and how to write for both the algorithm and the audience.
- Each of the different formats of writing (for websites, social, ads, etc.) and the stylistic and strategic choices that will effectively carry your message using SEO.
- Branding: creating taglines, branded vocabulary, tone, and intentional messages for small businesses
