World Table Tennis (WTT) today unveiled details for the Draw Ceremony of Saudi Smash 2024. Scheduled for Thursday, 2 May at 5.00 PM (Arabian Standard Time, GMT +3) at the Infinity ∞ Arena, King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, the ceremony signals the beginning of a thrilling week of fierce table tennis competition, running from 4 to 11 May as part of the world-renowned WTT Grand Smash series. Fans around the globe can tune in as the Draw Ceremony will be streamed live on WTT’s YouTube Channel.

The Draw Ceremony will feature table tennis luminaries such as reigning World No.1’s Wang Chuqin (CHN) and Sun Yingsha (CHN), the formidable Bruna Takahashi (BRA), and powerhouse Omar Assar (EGY). These athletes are gearing up to compete in a tournament featuring 64-player singles and 24-pair doubles main draws, vying for ranking points and a share of USD 2,000,000, the most substantial prize pool in the history of officially sanctioned table tennis events.

Fans can expect a week where top talents like Felix Lebrun (FRA), Shin Yubin (KOR), Hana Goda (EGY), and Dang Qiu (GER), showcase their skills in hopes of securing their legacy in the annals of table tennis history. Excitement is guaranteed with each match offering a display of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. Champions of the Men’s and Women’s Singles will claim USD 65,000 and earn 2,000 ITTF Table Tennis World Rankings Points.
