World Table Tennis (WTT) is pleased to welcome SeAH, a world leading steel manufacturer, as an official partner for WTT Champions Incheon Presented by Shinhan Bank, the inaugural WTT Series event in the Korea Republic taking place at the newly opened Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort between 27 – 31 March 2024.

Local favourite stars like Shin Yubin, Jeon Jihee, Jang Woojin and Lim Jonghoon will be battling on their home turf alongside their international counterparts as the best 32 men’s and women’s singles players vie for their share of USD300,000 in prize money, 1000 ITTF Table Tennis World Rankings points and the right to make history as the first champions to claim a WTT title in Korea Republic.

SeAH is a strong advocate of table tennis in the Korea Republic, supporting both the national team as well as the development of future stars through the SeAH Academy.

As the sport continues to see strong growth and development in the region coming off the back of the ITTF World Championships Finals in Busan, the partnership, SeAH’s first with World Table Tennis, marks another important milestone for Asia’s leading steel company.

SeAH will be the Official Steel Partner, with this in market event partnership focusing on offering SeAH Academy players unrivalled access and experience around a world class event, to aid SeAH’s mission to support the next generation of Korean talent.

Taesung Lee, CEO of SeAH Holdings, commented, “SeAH is honored to support WTT Champions Incheon and is proud to be an official event partner. SeAH has been a supporter of aspiring youth players and the Korea Republic national team, and our partnership with this event provides a great opportunity for the continuous growth of Korean table tennis and the nurturing of talented athletes. In particular, our partnership with WTT promises to offer our SeAH Academy players invaluable experiences and insights essential for their journey to becoming world-class players”.

Blythe Fitzwiliam, WTT Business Development Director, said “We are very excited to work with SeAH, an experienced partner of table tennis, but new to the WTT family. We have worked very closely with their team on a range of creative activation opportunities onsite, to deliver a unique set of engagement benefits that will help create future Korea Republic stars of the sport”.
