World Rugby U20 Championship 2023: Match-day five content

Match content is available ahead of the final round of the World Rugby U20 Championship 2023 in South Africa on 14 July.

The following content is available to media via a dedicated World Rugby U20 Championship 2023 dashboard in the Media Zone.

There will be a virtual press conference following the South Africa v England  third-place play-off and the final between Ireland and France.

For the third-place play-off, the losing coach/captain will be available 15 minutes post final whistle and the winning coach/captain 30 minutes post final whistle (timings are approximate). 

For the final, the timings will be 30 minutes post final whistle for the losing team  coach/captain and 45 minutes for the winning coach/captain due to the presentation (timings are approximate). 

The final day kicks off on Friday, 14 July.

12:00 – 11th-place play-off – Italy v Japan – Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch
14:30 – Ninth-place play-off – Fiji v Argentina – Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch
17:00 – Seventh-place play-off – Georgia v New Zealand – Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch

14:00 – Fifth-place play-off – Wales v Australia – Athlone Stadium, Cape Town
16:30 – Semi-final – South Africa v England – Athlone Stadium, Cape Town
19:00 – Semi-final – Ireland v France – Athlone Stadium, Cape Town
