Absolutely phenomenal! 🇮🇳 Our men’s Coxless 4 Rowing Team – Ashish, Bheem Singh, Jaswinder Singh, & Punit Kumar – have seized the bronze at #AsianGames2023. Their unwavering spirit & relentless effort have made the nation immensely proud.

Comprising the talented quartet of Ashish, Bheem Singh, Jaswinder Singh, and Punit Kumar, this achievement is a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence.

The journey to the podium was no easy feat. Months of grueling training, countless hours on the water, and an unyielding spirit fueled their pursuit of success. These athletes pushed their limits, both physically and mentally, to represent India on one of the biggest stages in Asian sports.

India also bagged its second rowing bronze medal of the day as the men’s quadruple sculls team clocked 6:08.61 to finish third at the Asian Games 2023. Rowers Satnam Singh, Parminder Singh, Jakar Khan and Sukhmeet Singh finished 5.96 seconds behind gold medallists China.

The Indian team were fourth after the first 500m, however, they took the third spot by the 1000m mark.

On the other hand, India’s women’s eight team finished fifth in the final A event, clocking 7:05.71. They were 32.10 seconds off the lead and failed to challenge the podium spots.
