Wrestling Warriors: Asian Games-Bound Greco-Roman Wrestlers Head to Romania for Special Training

Six Indian wrestlers and three support personnel have left for a special training camp in Romania ahead of the 19th Asian Games.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has approved and supported the 15-day travel via the “Assistance to NSF Scheme.” Athletes’ training, boarding and housing, airline, and visa fees will be covered by this aid. Aside from that, the athletes will get Out of Pocket Allowance (OPA) as well as additional expenses.

On August 18-20, the squad will also attend the Ion Cornianu and Ladislau Simon event.
